Are you able to do individual garage sales?
Pat, I don’t believe there is anything in the covenants about individual garage sales. Good luck!
Good question…. any update as of 2020? Are we able to do them anytime?
Hi Edith, we don’t have anything in our covenants specific to garage sales. However, you may want to check out:
– Our covenants on page 9. “Section 3.9. Nuisances” as we prohibit activity that may become an annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood. A garage sale may not intend to be a nuisance, but cars circulating the small neighborhood could!
– And again on page 9 related to “Section 3.12. Signs” as we only permit signs approved by the Board. Essentially we allow a professional sign indicating the home is for sale. So this could put a damper on advertising a sale.
During non-covid times, we did offer an annual community garage sale where we coordinate with other neighborhoods around us to have a garage sale all on the same weekend. Hopefully in 2021 we can get back to that!
I would suggest that if you’re planning a garage sale to email the board early to get approval — indicate date and time and any other details. You can find their contact information on our officers page. Each board member’s email address is linked in their name.

WOW! How old is this inquiry? I believe it was at least 1 – 2 years ago…lol. I believe we got an answer in an email when I inquired a year or so ago. No problem. It’s good to know. When we first moved here in 2014 there was a community garage days. I suppose that’s what prompted the inquiry. But, I’m good with the covenant response. Thanks for following up.
home owner 6402 hunter green court, question who is responsible to maintain fence. my neighbor fence that separates our yard falling down. my property does not have a fence. it is open on both sides. between my neighbors on both sides of me fences.

I talked to the MAC about the pothole at the corner of hunters green ct and hunters green way. I was told they would expedite the the problem. We will see .
