In April 2025, the Association was the victim of fraud in which $4,800 was mistakenly sent to someone posing as a vendor. The incident was promptly reported to law enforcement, including the FBI, and there is an active investigation. The Board has put new financial controls and verification steps in place to help ensure this does not happen again.
