Dues Update

Update regarding dues, treasurer has additional ~$1,550 to deposit to PNC bank following additional payments left to make. 

12 hadn’t paid, but she’s gotten 5 to pay, now we have 7 haven’t paid 

2 are on a payment plan 

Front Entrance Light

New sensor in light, $119 (Bob and Sue have a bill) 

Trees at Way and Ct

Rick has spoken with tree service, and was at Brad’s house, cut down tree 

Tree services are in high demand; Rick is having them come out in July to take down tree in Brad’s yard, and some other trees

Curb/Sidewalk Situation

We’re not sure why it’s been done — seems to be city project we had been on a list for, but HOA board did not initiate

The City’s Contact for the situation of curbs and sidewalks said they’re coming back next week to put dirt down & seed. 

Bushes at end of Way

We’re not taking the bushes down to the size of the other ones 

But we will work with the green gang for trimming them back this fall 

Mailboxes

Rick – we have other mailboxes that are bad 

We can send 3 letters and then put a new mailbox in – mailbox and/or post 

Additional Tree Maintenance

Overhanging pine tree branches on sidewalks – Rick will take care of these 

Additional Neighborhood Concerns

Motorcycle gang on Shanghai – Edith to bring info/complaint to district taskforce, potentially call police if situation escalates

Hi Hunters Green Neighbors,

We will be having a neighborhood board meeting tomorrow, Sunday June 28, 2020 at 6:30 pm.  We have a number of topics to discuss including vacant board seats, sidewalks in the community, tree & landscaping, and other topics pertinent to our community.

If the weather permits we will be meeting at the common area at Hunters Green Way & Place. Bring a chair, wear a mask, and plan to sit at least 6 ft. away from each other.

The Hunters Green Homeowners Association Board has worked diligently this year to keep the Annual Dues the same as last year – $350.00. We have welcomed many new homeowners this year and everyone is reminded to visit our website, Facebook, and Next Door to keep up to date on the latest news from our community. Our covenants are also on our website and we encourage you to read them since they were updated in January 2019.

We are in need of new Board members this year as some members who have served for many years have moved or will retire. If you are interested please attend the meeting or contact one of the current board members. There is a minimal time involved as we conduct many questions and issues through email or telephone calls. We do meet 3-4 times a year at the Indianapolis Fire Station on Lafayette Road – our polling place. 

Thank you to all residents who have repaired or replaced their mailboxes. There are still a few mailboxes that need attention. Refer to the covenants for information.  We list the company we use to repair or replace them on our website. Please remember to keep your garage and post lights on at night for your safety and that of your neighbors. A well- lit community deters criminal activity. Please replace burned out bulbs.

Annual Homeowners Dues – $350.00 due by March 1, 2020.

There is a $25.00 monthly late fee for dues paid after March 1, 2020.

• Dues received after March 1, 2020 will be $350.00 + $25.00 late fee = $375.00
• Dues received after April 1, 2020 will be $350.00 + $25.00 late fee (x2) =$400.00
• Dues received after May 1, 2020 will be $350.00 + $25.00 late fee (x3) = $425.00

Each month after will accrue the $25.00 monthly late fee.

Attention Homeowners

The next Annual Homeowners meeting is confirmed and scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM.

The meeting will be held at Pike Township Government Center on Lafayette Road. 

We will be discussing our budget for this upcoming year.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Dues for 2020 will be $350

The 2019 Community Yard Sale in Hunters Green will be Saturday, June 1 2019

This date coincides with the other nearby community yard sales.

Time for the yard sale is 8 AM to 3 PM

The 2019 Annual Dues were due on March 1, 2019 in the amount of $350 as agreed upon at our Annual Homeowners Meeting on January 24, 2019.

All homeowners were mailed a notice of the dues due in February 2019.

Our treasurer will be (or already has been) in touch if you have not paid the dues.  Those who have not paid are subject to a late penalty of $25.00 per month, plus any incurred expenses.

Homeowners-

It has come to our attention that there was a vehicle broken into in our neighborhood on Hunters Green Court on Wednesday, April 3.

We’d like to remind everyone of a few safety tips

-Lock your vehicles

-Don’t leave any valuables in your vehicles

-Make sure your coach light and any other outdoor lights (including lights on the garage, if you have them) are functioning. A well lit neighborhood deters theft

-Report suspicious activity to the authorities
